Toolkit 2 - Life Drawing: 14.10.19

In today's Life Drawing class, we got to experience our first live model of the year! The goal was to let go of any stiffness in our drawings and aim to interpret the basic shapes and also the tone of the figure. It was fun trying to depict how the light was bouncing off the model and translate that to paper. I also took this opportunity to work with different media, such as charcoal, soft pastels, oil pastels and colouring pencils. Each poses varied depending on the time we were given to draw them in; we started off with 2 minute poses and increased the time as we went on.
