For this life drawing session, I decided to work on my drawing tablet so that I could practise working digitally. I want to push myself further next time and perhaps try and add some colour in the drawings.

For today's life drawing session, we had Robin as our subject. We started off with some 3 minute poses, and then moved on to 10 minute poses. After reading week, it feels nice to get back in to the drawing space and be creative.

In this life drawing lesson, we bagan with drawing 1 minute poses. It was a bit difficult to begin with because I couldn't get all of the details in quick enough, but it was a lot of fun to draw.  We then moved on to 5 minute poses which became a little more dynamic. Finally, for the last few poses, we were asked to extend the drawing and use our imagination. With these 30 minute poses, we had to picture the model in a particular setting based on what we thought the pose conveyed.

For our first life drawing session of the term, we started off with some quick five minute poses to warm up. We then proceeded to look at artists such as Henry Moore and Alberto Giacometti and try to incorporate their style in to our drawings.

I'm feeling pretty happy with how today's life drawings have turned out. I feel like I'm starting to revert back to old ways, but if I remember to just keep it loose, hopefully my drawings will improve in no time!

I feel like I am definitely improving my anatomy with each session. I can't wait for next week!

Today's life drawing lesson was a lot of fun! Robin had plenty of new costumes to try out, and I can feel myself improving the more I keep this up.
